In Your Own Skin...

Hoda and Kathie Lee went where few women have gone before...au naturel on live TV. I think makeup is a double-edged sword. Don't get me wrong, I usually feel better when I am completely made up but who's to say it's for everyone? I don't understand how women got the makeup and men didn't. One of these days I may try to do some research on that. Anyway, this story got a lot of buzz on the internet, they even reaired it on the national news that evening. One thing that makes me wonder is why do two women without makeup get so much attention? Seriously, it's like people must think most of us wake up every morning already made up. Second, I think natural beauty is something to behold...this is how God made us so we should embrace it. KLG and Hoda's makeup artist, Mary Kahler said, “The purpose of them doing this overall is to help women feel comfortable in their unique and very own look,” Kahler said. “Makeup is a tool to enhance what you already have, but it shouldn't determine who you are.” To see the rest of this

I followed a blog where a lady did it for 30 days straight...no make up at all. It was very enlightening.

Looking great, Kelly! I'm impressed with how wrinkle-free your skin is. I'd be interested to hear your research on why women wear make-up and men don't.:)
